The 360° view of suppliers, through shared data, maximizes collaboration thanks to optimized and centralized processes.

Moët Hennessy, the “Wines & Spirits” division of the LVMH Group, optimizes its supplier journey with Aprovall. Stéphane Villin, Purchasing Sustainability & Compliance Manager, shares how this transformation has improved the collection, reliability, and cross-functionality of information within teams.

About Moët Hennessy

Founded in 1987 and with 10,000 employees, Moët Hennessy represents the “Wines & Spirits” division of the LVMH Group. It encompasses 27 iconic houses, such as Veuve Clicquot, Krug, Dom Pérignon, Ruinart, Glenmorangie or Belvedere, united around a common goal: excellence and sustainability.

Collect, structure and engage without complexity

With more than a quarter of its suppliers having fewer than 10 employees, Moët Hennessy faced a major challenge:

  • collecting diverse and sensitive data (financial, ESG, legal),
  • without increasing the workload of partners.

The COVID crisis amplified these challenges.

The company needed to onboard a broad supplier ecosystem with an educational approach, while structuring information to meet regulatory requirements such as Scope 3 or Duty of Vigilance, without generating administrative fatigue.

A 360° view of suppliers to enhance collaboration and performance

The partnership with Aprovall led to the creation of the KYS – Know Your Supplier platform, designed to centralize supplier data and questionnaires on ESG, carbon and legal aspects.

Thanks to a shared model, information redundancy is reduced and completeness enhanced.

Aprovall structured clear processes, facilitating the collection, sharing and cross-functional use of data between Procurement, Legal and Internal Control.

Domain-based approach

  • Legal: collection of documents related to the Duty of Vigilance.
  • Finance: aggregation and analysis of third-party financial data.
  • Environment: assessment of suppliers’ decarbonization maturity.

“Aprovall provides us with an automated and simple approach that enables not only comprehensive document collection from our suppliers, but also cross-functional information sharing. This has allowed us to streamline internal exchanges while significantly reducing the operational burden on suppliers.”

Enhanced and measurable collaboration

Thanks to this approach, Moët Hennessy now benefits from a 360° view of its suppliers, integrating financial, extra-financial and legal data.

The results are significant:

  • +60% supplier coverage from the first year,
  • operational efficiency gains and improved management,
  • richer and more reliable supplier reviews,
  • reduced requests via annual collection,
  • strengthened cross-functionality and internal collaboration.

Aprovall structured the data, compiled it, and built clear, well-organized dashboards. This has transformed our supplier management by providing us with actionable insights shared between procurement, legal, and internal control

Stéphane Villin

Purchasing Sustainability & Compliance Manager

The partnership between Moët Hennessy and Aprovall illustrates the success of a digital transformation serving performance and responsibility.

By structuring supplier data through a single platform, the group has been able to centralize financial, legal, and environmental information while simplifying collaboration with more than 30,000 partners.

This shared approach has achieved a 360° view of suppliers, ensuring greater transparency, compliance, and efficiency in management.

Procurement, legal, and internal control teams now benefit from a common and usable foundation, facilitating decision-making and cross-functional cooperation.

Beyond operational gains, this initiative marks a true culture shift: data becomes a strategic lever for trust and sustainability in the relationship between Moët Hennessy and its suppliers.

“Thanks to Aprovall, we have been able to rationalize our approach to supplier collection and monitoring. The collaborative approach and data structuring have transformed our management while enhancing transparency and compliance,” explains Stéphane Villin.
