Challenge
AGL needed to strengthen the transparency and compliance of its 1,300 critical carriers, particularly in the areas of QHSE, legal, and anti-corruption. The old internal solution suffered from malfunctions and outdated ergonomics, hindering daily management. Moreover, a tight deadline constraint required a rapid replacement of the tool. The objective was to implement a stable, intuitive, and compliant solution, facilitating rapid adoption by both internal teams and carriers—including those without a global unique identifier.
The complete absence of bugs and the smooth user experience are, for me, a major feature: we can finally rely on a solution that is reliable, stable, and perfectly aligned with our processes

Solution
The implementation of Aprovall took place in record time, between 4 and 6 months, thanks to close collaboration between AGL’s teams and those of the software provider. The project was divided into four deployment waves covering the entire African continent, with strong user support. This approach made it possible to balance centralized oversight and local management of carriers, ensuring rapid and uniform adoption in a multi-country and multi-language context.
Results
The Aprovall solution fully meets AGL’s expectations by combining structured document collection, seamless Due Diligence orchestration, and a tailored QHSE pathway suited to the specifics of road transport. Two months after deployment, over 60% of the 1,300 carriers had joined the platform, with 7,000 documents submitted, half of which were already validated. A hundred carriers are already fully compliant, marking a promising start for such a recent project.
